Ten Tangy Tomatoes

This illustration was created as part of the Make Art That Sells bootcamp, where the prompt challenged us to design a baby board book page based on counting and vegetables. I was inspired by the playful concept of ten dancing tomatoes, which allowed me to showcase expressive character design through their animated arms and legs. To enhance the piece, I selected a bright, energetic color palette that captures attention and adds a sense of fun. I also incorporated riso-inspired effects to give the artwork a retro charm, reflecting my love for bold textures and nostalgic design elements. (My favorite tomato is the bottom right corner!)
